Wellington City Transport MAN SL202

Stagecoach 141 turns into Lambton Quay at Stewrt Dawson Corner with two of Wellington's residential recycling bins jamed under the front. It made a hideous noise so I am sure the driver must have known they were there but I suspect they were tightly jambed. Route 8 operates over some very narrow residential streets in Brooklyn. On 22 May 2007 a kamikaze pedestrian stepping in fromt of a bus on Willis St caused south bound buses to be diverted into Victoria St. Wellington City Transport MAN SL202 155 is heading to Courtenay Place from Wilton. Photo Mike Butler 22 May 2007

Go Wellington is the new name trading name for Wellington City Council. While it appears on 10 trip tickets and monthly passes, tickets issued on the buses still say Stagcoach Wellington and only 2 buses carry the words Go Wellington in August 2007. However 156 seen in Miramar has been painted into the yellow and black colours that will form the base for the Go Wellington branding one day. Photo Stan White 18 July 2007
